Sjónabók contains a collection of traditional textile patterns from Icelandic manuscripts from as early as 1700.
About 700 pages of different patterns, all manually digitized. The project was a collaboration between the Iceland Academy of the Arts, The National Museum and The Home Industry Association (Heimilisiðnaðafélagið).
Included with the book is a CD with all the patterns, printable.
Text is both in Icelandic and English.
